Many of the folks camped here have been coming here in the summers for years. Combine that with the fact that there are only 25 sites here and this makes for a very friendly little park that loves to do things together.
Because so many folks will be leaving the first of September, Marti (the owner) hosted a hot dog and marshmallow roast around the campfire.
Afterwards we all moved to the front and to listen to some great music by four guys - 3 who are camped here and Shorty who was camped here a few weeks ago and has come back to play with this group.
So here are some pics of the concert.
All in all it was a 'get up and dance' and toe tapping evening. As it got dark everyone joined in to sing some of the wonderful old hymns. Really nice folks, great music, beautiful surroundings... sure can't wish for more.
